This support has and continues to make a real difference to the lives of Aboriginal students and their families.  Their generosity has enabled a young disadvantaged man to live on campus and study Medicine at the University of NSW.  He will soon qualify as a doctor and will make a tangible contribution to improving health outcomes for the First People of this country.  Closing the shameful gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, can best be facilitated through education - and especially by increasing the number of Indigenous doctors and professionals.”
